Bricólàge [lighting object/paper derm studies] aims to foster new dialogues within the design field as an object that embraces an open-source approach. With its accessible [recycled, repurposed, and readily available materials] and replicable design [technical sheet available for free download], Bricólàge's ethos embodies transparency, collaboration, and accessibility. In doing so, it seeks to spread awareness of new possible ways of thinking, creating, and designing. While the festival is taking place, the designer will set up this piece live, offering a QR code for attendees to follow the process and download the technical sheet of Bricólàge. This allows everyone to replicate, tweak, and interact with the piece as they please, encouraging new personal explorations from an existing base.
