In this talk, the Mad Plastic team will share their journey from volunteering with Precious Plastic in the Netherlands back in 2019 to their current efforts. Today, they build machines, provide on-site training and installation, consultancy services, R&D projects, and more to equip small-scale recyclers worldwide.

From the former Precious Plastic team, Carolina Espinoza Jiménez (she/her) and Yann Chauvin (he/him) started their own journey to equip the upcoming wave of innovators with the necessary tools and expertise to harness the potential of recycled plastic. At Mad Plastic, they are committed to distributing small-scale, user-friendly and high quality plastic recycling machines, to empower individuals to transform locally sourced plastic into precious products.
