Sedimento is a project focused on the repurposing of marble dust, a current waste of MAAMI Home, a company that produces furniture and products with marble. By combining marble dust with other ingredients, such as concrete (from Saint Gobain), it is possible to produce a viable material for additive manufacturing, which results in objects such as a vase.

Sedimento is a project by Catarina Solheiro, Mariana Regalo, Mariana Santos, Tiago Correia, Bárbara Rangel and João Teixeira, a group with different backgrounds. It was developed in the Design Project Discipline from the Master’s in Industrial and Product Design from the University of Porto and took place in the DIGI@FEUP laboratories, from FEUP - University of Porto.
